Mmmmm...Lady
Katrina still smells like coconut. She was made from a 3rd
generation pegasus pony. 100%
of the proceeds from her sale was donated to the Hurricane Katrina
Relief efforts. ^_^

Lady Katrina's wings feature a metallic
purple gradient at the tips and a light coat of glitter in 3 colors:
translucent purple, fuchsia, and regular iridescent rainbow. I tried
several wing variations before deciding on this. Some darker purple
glitter got trapped in the crevices of her wings, but this actually adds
to the effect. ^_^
Her magnet hoof is marked with a metallic purple heart with highlights and
a touch of glitter. |

Lady
Katrina's hair was re-rooted in 4 shades of silky Saran hair:
plum, lavender, bubblegum pink, and a deeper hot
pink. Her tail contains the same 4 colors. Both her
tail & mane were given a gradual curl at the ends.
Her eyes were
re-painted using a "watercolor technique". Many
layers were added to give them depth. The purple areas have
a metallic sheen, like her wings & hoof heart. Her
lashes are a shorter, feathery variety in black. She has a
touch of metallic purple eyeshadow with a bit of glitter...it's
very subtle.

Her symbol
is a hand-painted Celtic heart decorated with knotwork in deep red and
silver. It was adapted from the Book of Kells. The center
part has a light sprinkling of glitter.

Lady Katrina's accessories include:
- Removable pink pearlescent beaded star necklace with silvertone clasp
- Two sparkling metal hair clips in pink and purple
- Pink brush
- Extra long tail ribbons in silver and white mesh

She
also comes packaged in a G3 box with a custom
printed front panel bearing her name. Lady Katrina is a
one-of-a-kind design and she will NOT be repeated. She is signed
& dated under one hoof.
Lady Katrina was sold on eBay in 2005 and 100% of the proceeds
were donated to the Hurricane relief efforts. ^_^ |
