Thorns - 2006 Custom Modified Pony NOT Affiliated with Hasbro Design by Liana Custom by Aikarin Thorns is a prickly 3rd gen pony, who actually looks a bit "greener" than the pics. Base pony is G3 Wing Wisher Minty. She was re-rooted with 3 different colors of nylon hair - dark emerald green, black, and lime green. Her tail shares the same 3 colors. This pony's design came together nicely. Quite a creative interpretation of the rose/thorn theme! ^_^ |

Thorns' eyes were completely
repainted. Many coats of lime green, emerald green, and dabs of white
give them depth. Her lashes are black.
Thorns also has a special hoof mark - a black rose. Her symbol is made up of two overlapping thorny plants. Everything was painted freehand. I think the lighting washed out some of the color...the painted areas are actually quite vibrant! |

has 3 sculpted "thorns" coming out of her forehead.
The thorns were firmly rooted in the plastic, painted, then given a
varnish coat. |
