Sweet Nostalgia - Gumball Machine Custom Pony by Aikarin


	Sweet Nostalgia - 2006 Custom Modified Pony NOT Affiliated with Hasbro Concept/custom by Aikarin When I was little, I always wanted a gumball machine. Sweet Nostalgia was inspired by this wish. Her design is rather simple, but I like her a lot. ^_^ Her base is a baity pony. The pink color is original. 	Sweet Nostalgia was re-rooted with 6 colors of real pony hair, most of it taken from 3rd generation ponies. The exception is the green stripe, which is from a G1 pony. Her tail uses the same colors. It is looks just a hair shorter than a regular G1 tail. Notice that the symbol is only on the display side. <-- Click on picture for enlarged view - warning - huge file!

	[click on picture for enlarged view]	Her symbol is a 3D gumball machine, which was sculpted directly on the pony and anchored with wires underneath. No molds were used...it's definitely one-of-a-kind. ^_^ The symbol was painted in pearlescent bright pink paint and given silver accents. A transparent plastic cover was placed on top of some rhinestone "gumballs". It doesn't fit precisely, but it's pretty close and still looks good on display. Yes, the "gumballs" move around inside when the pony is gently shaken. ^_^

	Sweet Nostalgia is an original pony and she will NOT be repeated. She is signed & dated under one hoof. I recommend her for display only, since I'm not certain about the durability of the plastic symbol cover. This pony is NOT FOR SALE.
