Frost - 2006
3rd generation white tiger pony
Design & Custom by Aikarin
Frost was one of those "ugh, what am I going to do" projects that
sat on my shelves for months in a half-finished state. I'm delighted
at how her design came together!
The tail was made
from flexible Fimo sculpted over a wire base & firmly anchored into the
pony. The whole pony was baked, after her hoof magnet was
removed. I glued the magnet back, but it's not 100% secure, so I don't
recommend this pony for play or small children.

The baking process made her a
little ivory in color. Also, the tail actually isn't very
flexible. The whole pony received many coats of frost white
paint...it's flawless as I can tell. The whole pony is the same color
now.
She was generously re-rooted
with a blend of donor hair and white nylon hair, along with
randomly dispersed pinstripes of black nylon hair. Her hair is nice
& thick, about standard length with a little curl at the bottom.
Her stripes were all painted
freehand in a random pattern over her legs & tail.
