Baby Mosaic - Custom Baby Merpony by Aikarin


Baby Mosaic - 2006 Custom Modified Pony NOT Affiliated with Hasbro Design and Custom by Aikarin Baby Mosaic is a pint-sized experimental custom. She was made from a pink newborn and her body is only about 2" long! She wears a pink beaded shell bracelet accessory.	[click on picture for enlarged view - warning - huge file!]
Her tail was sculpted with milifiori patterned sculpy clay. It's not painted...that's the color of the clay. Even with a wire base, the pony was still fragile. It broke into a bunch of different pieces when I was trying to re-assemble her! So, she was pieced together again with some tough 2-part epoxy polymer. That forms the "grout" lines...I painted it a pale golden color to match the rest of her body.	[click on picture for enlarged view - warning - huge file!]

		Her eyes were carefully painted in golden hues, with a little trace of copper near the pupils. Her lashes were re-painted in black. Baby Mosaic's extra long hair is silky saran in 4 different colors: gold, blue, and two shades of copper. I had it curled into a bun, so it's a little wavy. ^_^ <-- click on picture for enlarged view - warning - huge file!
		Her double tail is quite fancy and delicate. I've snapped off a few of the thinner bits already. The colors are more vibrant in real life. She is recommended for display only. <--click on picture for enlarged view
