Yarn: Rowan Cashsoft DK

Needles: Knitpicks Options circular size 6

Other tools: row markers, knit counter, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:  stitches/inch in stockinette

Project notes: 4th size in pattern.  It's for a newborn, but I'm using yarn that is a smaller gauge than called for in the pattern.  Rowan Cashsoft is yummy stuff!
k1p1 cords about 12" long are attached them to the inside, right above the bobble rows.  They are very securely tied in & ends were woven in.
The brim was gently blocked by spraying water on it, then placing a towel on top, and gently pressing with an iron set on low.  I also folded the hat in quarters and placed it under a magazine, so the edge won't curl up.

Pattern notes: picot cast on 169 st.  join.
round 1: k for 1.25"
round 12-15: bobble border
round 16-29: k for 2"
round 30: decr 3 sts evenly spaced in last row
round 31: crown
round 32-46: decreases EVERY OTHER row
round 47: decreases EVERY row until 5 sts remain
pull thread through & pull tight

Comments:
Did I mention that I love this yarn?  It's so soft and smooth & shows the stitches beautifully.  Mmmmmm.  ^_^  The hat is adorable...the picot cast on border is cute.  I modified the pattern and decided not to go for the ear flaps.  Not enough yarn and it doesn't get that cold here in SoCal.  This pattern uses almost the entire ball of yarn.
