Machine This machine was purchased about 2 years ago on eBay. I replaced the sponge bar in the machine and I think I might have replaced the one in the ribber too. This machine was described as perfect...however, it is an old machine and it still looks "old" even though I cleaned it =) There is a small dent in the main bed, but this does not affect its performance. I rarely use this machine and it worked fine the last time I checked. The carriage still glides smoothly. The bed is missing two needles - one on each end. These can be easily replaced and most people only use the middle needles anyway. =) The cover shows wear & has dings in it. Yarn mast & arm are included (inside the cover). I could never get the ribber to work flawlessly...it could be a little misaligned due to shipping or maybe it's because I don't have the instructions to line it up properly. The brackets to attach it to the machine are there. The ribber carriage glides very smoothly. Comes with two ribber cast on combs (they look pretty good with only a few bent teeth, the "bowing" in the bottom pic is from my camera) and two bars for hanging weights on. The bars can be attacked together to form one long bar. Other item pictured is the swing handle.
Accessories include the weights pictured above, yarn guide, gauge ruler, transfer tool and latch hook tool, standard gauge needle pusher, metal hooks to hang weights to edge of work (side hangers), ribber attachment arm. |
